What the hell had I done last night? Shit. Very seldom did I allow myself the luxury of getting totally shit-faced, and never on a week night for fuck’s sake.
I rolled over in my bed, bleary eyed and hung the hell over. The clock said it was seven-ten a.m. Hell, I was usually at the gym by now getting ready to hit the showers and continue on to work downtown.
Bits and pieces were coming back to me as I pulled myself out of bed, ran a hand through my sleep tousled hair and headed towards the master bath.
There’d been some Patron involved once I’d gotten home. I remembered that much. I’d tried it with a lime instead of lemon the way that Autumn took her tequila shooters.
I’d turned on Midnight Caller... something about theme songs. And then I’d called Ramona to talk. What the fuck we talked about and for how long I had no clue. Guess I’d find out on my next cellular bill.
I showered, shaved, dressed and then drank a half pot of coffee before I left for work, not stopping at Starbucks for my usual latte. I was typically the first one in every morning. I hated when I fucked up my own routine.
Friday. Let’s see. I needed to do another spot with Autumn scheduled for five o’clock for Slather. We’d scheduled her to come in on one of her normal days off which I appreciated under the circumstances. In fact, I made a mental note to see if I could get a photographer in around the same time for some promotional pics. Nothing else special besides that. Hopefully the old man had taken Mom up to their cabin for a long weekend. I switched on the radio as traffic was crawling due to yet more construction on the beltway. It seemed to never end which was why I tried to avoid getting caught in rush hour.
Just then I heard Autumn’s voice come across in surround sound, dripping with sexy haughtiness. My dick twitched in response.
“It’s Friday. Do you know what I love doing on Friday’s? I celebrate the weekend by treating myself to a Hip-Hop stuffed crust pizza,” she purred. “Ummm... ohhhh... there’s nothing quite like taking that very first bite into that crisp, thick, buttered crust deluxe meat pizza... the warm cheese oozing onto my tongue, thick and spicy, the tangy sauce and delectable meats and veggies, my stomach tingles just waiting for the first swallow. Remember Hip-Hop uses only the freshest of ingredients in their secret sauce and toppings. So, take my word for it and treat your taste buds to a Hip-Hop pizza. Delivery or pick-up available at all seven greater Indy locations.”
That voice. That fucking sensual ‘come fuck me’ voice even in a damn pizza commercial had my dick stiff yet again... and twitching for some satisfaction.
In my foggy, forgetful mind, something about Autumn’s voice awakened some motor memory, an automatic jump to the past. Memories I couldn’t quite gather together but just on the tip of my tongue.
